About Why Becky Paints

Through The Pink Frame Initiative, artist Becky O'Toole donates a portion of each of her coastal-inspired paintings to Dana-Farber.

Her mission: "Being able to paint my way through my breast cancer and leukemia treatments saved my life. The calm that came with painting coastal scenes is something I still need today, years in remission.

For every painting I sell in stores and galleries, or through fundraisers, I donate a portion back to Dana-Farber.

I have been able to support so many people in and around my coastal town of Scituate, Massachusetts, and beyond. I painted my way through cancer and will spend the rest of my life painting with the purpose of helping those affected by cancer and those working to support them in so many ways."
